ROTTENSTONE INFORMATION
Rottenstone is a soft, slate-like, platey silicate mineral. It is a polish and a prime pigment for long lasting industrial coatings.

This mineral is used mainly used as a mild abrasive in the rubber industry.

An insoluble, decomposed Silica, brownish or grayish in color. It is usually used as a soft, mild abrasive, in various types of polishes, for rubbing varnished woodwork and hard rubber and as an ingredient in the man ufacturing of brake linings.
