This material is used for blast finishing of various metals. It is carefully screened to both maximum and minimum size. Its round shape allows a smooth peen finish; it leaves no residue; contains no free quartz; is suitable for pressure, suction, wet, or dry; and can be recycled with a low breakdown rate.

RECYCLED FILLER INFORMATION

An inexpensive filler made from recycled glass powder. Useful when green claims and being environmentally friendly are important. As a fused product it is completely free of quartz and crystalline materials. It is free flowing and does not readily produce dust.

MIRAGLASS MX INFORMATION

This is a micronized produced from a variety of recycled glass sources. It has consistent physical properties making this an inexpensive filler that does not contain any crystalline silica. This version is translucent and will not alter pigmentation of opaque or colored formulas while also reducing glossiness. In concrete applications it will serve as a pozzolan material.
